We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday for 11!! The Raro beach Bach was perfect for us. Situated right on the beach the kids were chasing tropical fish within 5 minutes of arriving! Big enough for everyone to have their own space, great outdoor dining,clean and tidy !! Close to other activities, Ian was easy to contact and responded quickly to any requests. We will be back.

The Raro Beach Bach was a fantastic place to stay, right on the beach and perfect for a large group over for a wedding. We had alot of space using all of the units as well as the house. The location was reasonably close to good swimming beaches and touristy destinations as well as a super market just down the road. Ian was a wonderful host and we would love to re visit in the near future 🙂

Ian, I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at your place in Vaimaanga. The property was wonderful with beautiful views of the lagoon and great snorkeling right out our back door. We really appreciated the extra mile you went to help us when we arrived so early in the morning. I would recommend your place to anyone wanting to stay in Rarotonga and find a wonderful place to relax. I certainly will be back!

We went to Raro for our wedding and decided to stay at Raro Beach Bach cause it can accommodate large groups, and what a good choice, as it was perfect and everyone had a great time! If you have relaxation in mind this certainly is the place to go.

The Raro Beach Bach house and units are all well equipped, clean, homely and private. The Pacific island landscaping is very attractive and the site is raised just above a beach that is suitable for swimming or close to other sandy bays a short walk away. The panoramic view is brilliant over the lagoon and out to the reef. You hear the movement of the surf making it feel you are very much on a relaxing holiday.
Ian is a great host and visits the site periodically to ensure all services are working well.
Hire a car, a bike or use the Rarotongan bus service which travels the circumference of the Island, clockwise or anti-clock wise regularly each day.
We have visited many island locations over the years and our stay at the Raro Beach Bach units was by far the most enjoyable to date.
We are pleased to be able to give feedback on our experience and are planning to stay with Ian again next year.
For any couples, families or larger groups wanting self contained accommodation in Rarotonga we can highly recommend the Raro Beach Bach.
Our second trip to Rarotonga and we spent 16 wonderful days at Raro Beach Bach (main house). The very clean house had everything required to make our stay comfortable and very enjoyable. 3 double bedrooms in main bach, with studios on the same property that can accommodate another 6 people. Great for families. The location was excellent with snorkeling and swimming possible right at our door step. Views across the water or the beautiful hills while sunbaking on the deck was a pleasure. Also Vaima’s is a great restaurant within walking distance. Wigmores Supermarket is near by and open 7 days a week for extra supplies. Thanks Ian for a terrific stay and your wonderful hospitality.
